Pre-Bid meeting of package CP5 – Electrical and Mechanical, under project of Ho Chi Minh City urban mass rapid transit line 2, Ben Thanh - Tham Luong route.
On May 31st 2017, at Dien Hong conference room locate on 29 Le Quy Don Street, Ward 7, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR) has set up Pre-Bid meeting for package “CP5 – Electrical and Mechanical”, under project of Ho Chi Minh City urban mass rapid transit line 2, Ben Thanh - Tham Luong route; The conference is organized to provide detail and fully information to the Bidders interested in the project about characteristic, route’s position and answer queries of the Bidders after received Bidding document to support them making well Bids document.
At conference, there were attendance of the representative of KfW Bank (Mr. Christian Hass), Employer (MAUR), Project Management of Unit 2 (PMU2), Consultant for Design & Preparation of Bidding Documents (IC Consultant), Consultant for Support Project Management (CS1 Consultants) and Contractors Interested in above-mentioned package (Siemens AG, Stadler Pankow GmbH, Thales Nsea PTE., Marsch & McLennan, General Resources).
On behalf of the Employer, Mr. Le Nguyen Minh Quang _ General Director of MAUR appreciates for the interest and attendance of the parties. He also chaired the conference.
In Conference, the Employer and the Consultants have presented to Bidder about overview, specifications, feature of the project. They also explained the bidding documents and drawn Contractor's attention to some important points of the package. Information getting from the conference will give facilities for the Bidder preparing best their Bids document.
The conference has taken place urgently, focused on answering, clarifying queries, blocks of the Contractors on the content of the Bidding document; All of answers will be in writing and sent to the Bidder bought Bidding Documents.
On the evening, the Employer has set up a site visit for the Bidders to survey actual route of project to investigate the features, climate, geology, topography as well as know well about actual site conditions and adjacent construction building.
